Today is a beautiful day my little town! I have been looking forward to this post all day, just to get out all the things I feel and the things I need to rant about, since I really have nowhere to turn for those things anymore! So here we go.
Spring is just around the corner, and we have had our first semi-hot day for it seems like forever! It actually hit the 80's today! Crazy... I spent all day inside at work which was a huge bummer! But, I appreciated it all the same! I have recently purchased a "new" car, and although it is nothing like my previous ride (a '99 Jeep Wrangler) it's A Honda CR-V with all the bells and whistles! My first grown up thing besides my full time job. Anyways I love to ride around and jam to music and just get away from all my problems! So, after work I took the time to roll all my windows down, push the sunroof back, and let the breeze flow through my body. It seems to really help me when I'm down.
On that subject... sort of. What's new in music for me you ask? (or didn't ask). Well, I have a severe addiction to Concerts of all shapes and sizes! Already this year I have added 3 concerts to my sort of nice collection of concert dates through the years! A couple of weeks ago I attended a Panic! at the Disco. concert. IT BLEW MY MIND! The atmosphere was beautiful. I also attended a Lumineers concert, who are one of my favorite bands and it did not dissapoint! The folky rock vibes kept me and my friends dancing the whole time.
This summer I have already purchased tickets to four different concerts of virtually four different genres of music... Because lets face it my musical interests are ALLLLLLL over the place! Update: I am going to see the Goo Goo Dolls for the third time!!! To top it off I am taking my best friend with me for his birthday, and it is our first concert together so I couldn't be more excited! I am also going to see FUTURE, John Mayer, and Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds! Needless to say my excitement level is through the roof! Can you tell I'm addicted?
I have been listening to some new stuff too lately. I have become obsessed with two bands in particular, Blink 182 and Cage the Elephant. I connect with their music on so many different crazy levels. Music is the one thing in life I can always count on. And it's a good thing because without it I feel as if I would be totally lost! The good God above certainly did something right created music, instruments, and the ability to listen and connect to them on so many levels. I need it in my life that's for sure.
I think that's enough for now! Just wanted to rant and brag a little bit, and to catch everyone up on what I've been up to. Thanks for reading, anyone out there!
Peace Out.
