Guess who's back.

Hello there!

Today is a beautiful day my little town!  I have been looking forward to this post all day, just to get out all the things I feel and the things I need to rant about, since I really have nowhere to turn for those things anymore! So here we go.

Spring is just around the corner, and we have had our first semi-hot day for it seems like forever! It actually hit the 80's today! Crazy... I spent all day inside at work which was a huge bummer! But, I appreciated it all the same! I have recently purchased a "new" car, and although it is nothing like my previous ride (a '99 Jeep Wrangler) it's A Honda CR-V with all the bells and whistles! My first grown up thing besides my full time job. Anyways I love to ride around and jam to music and just get away from all my problems! So, after work I took the time to roll all my windows down, push the sunroof back, and let the breeze flow through my body. It seems to really help me when I'm down.

On that subject... sort of. What's new in music for me you ask? (or didn't ask). Well, I have a severe addiction to Concerts of all shapes and sizes! Already this year I have added 3 concerts to my sort of nice collection of concert dates through the years! A couple of weeks ago I attended a Panic! at the Disco. concert. IT BLEW MY MIND! The atmosphere was beautiful. I also attended a Lumineers concert, who are one of my favorite bands and it did not dissapoint! The folky rock vibes kept me and my friends dancing the whole time.

This summer I have already purchased tickets to four different concerts of virtually four different genres of music... Because lets face it my musical interests are ALLLLLLL over the place! Update: I am going to see the Goo Goo Dolls for the third time!!! To top it off I am taking my best friend with me for his birthday, and it is our first concert together so I couldn't be more excited! I am also going to see FUTURE, John Mayer, and Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds! Needless to say my excitement level is through the roof! Can you tell I'm addicted?

I have been listening to some new stuff too lately. I have become obsessed with two bands in particular, Blink 182 and Cage the Elephant. I connect with their music on so many different crazy levels. Music is the one thing in life I can always count on. And it's a good thing because without it I feel as if I would be totally lost! The good God above certainly did something right created music, instruments, and the ability to listen and connect to them on so many levels. I need it in my life that's for sure.

I think that's enough for now! Just wanted to rant and brag a little bit, and to catch everyone up on what I've been up to. Thanks for reading, anyone out there!
Peace Out.

Out of Focus.

Hello blogging world!

I haven't even attempted to create anything on anything in awhile. My life has become rather difficult as of late, and I am struggling to find myself again. I seem to be in a slump that I just can't kick. I live in a little town with not much to do or see. I work at a business that I love, but it consumes my every being, in the worst way possible. I feel as if I cannot find time for myself anymore... Maybe there is nothing left, and maybe I need a new identity, who knows!

Anyways, I'm still totally into style and cool photography, but outside of my black skinny's and the variety of henley's that I wear to work daily, I have not found joy in my style in a long time. I want to find that joy again somehow. But, there are some things about my style that have changed in the time that I have been away from my blog. I have long hair now, and it keeps growing... I LOVE IT! And I hope to never cut it until Jesus comes back to take me with his cool looking hippy hair... I always admired that Guy for his sick hair-style, and those MANDLES (which I can only assume are Birkenstock's)!

Moving on.  I have become obsessed with some new brands, as I am transitioning from teen to young adult. I signed up for my first credit card, Forever21. This is where I shop for everything now, and I couldn't be happier! I am also obsessed with a little Lexington brand called ShopLocalKY! They just had a sell this weekend and let's just say I am what do they call it... BROKE. I have to keep my feet happy, and cozy so I have invested in a monthly subscription to a brand that debuted on Shark Tank called Foot Cardigan! Its been almost two years since i received my first subscription, as a christmas present, and I have never been dissapointed in a single pair of socks yet. If you do the math correctly that is ALMOST 24 pairs of socks, totally worth it!

That's about all that is new in style for me... Like I said, not much time for expression for this dapper dude! But I hope to make time in the near future! I am on the market for a new camera and the ability to visit different places and create art everywhere I go, because I want to make some sort of mark on the world.

I decided to write this post on a whim, and as I sit here (2:56 AM I might add), I am in deep thought about what my life will hold for me in the future or even in the next hour. I try to rack my brain around why I haven't been myself lately, and what I need to do to get back there because I miss the old me. Only time will tell so I guess we'll find out! Thanks for reading, if there is anyone who sees this. Peace out.

Black And White. A day in Downtown Catlettsburg.

Nina decided to test out her photography skills on me of all people, and let me tell you she is a wonderful photographer and I enjoyed the opportunity so much.

For this day of photos and fun, we traveled around Catlettsburg, KY and explored many sights and scenes that created the best atmosphere for pictures. From the old-beat up back drops with cracks and crevices in the paint, to the trees and the riverfront beauty. I hope you enjoy the wonderful pictures and reading this post!

My outfit consisted of a Chaps Button-Up shirt with khaki Nautica Shorts. I paired these with some Van Doren Vans to create a casual look. My shades and my watch are both Fossil Brand, and I am also wearing my Live Lokai bracelets.

Overall I was extremely impressed with how the pictures turned out, and it was also just a fun time roaming around with some great people. Thank-you to Becky for taking the time to create such a great multitude of photos. And thanks to all my readers for your support!

Spring Ready!

Spring has finally come and it has sparked a curious and adventurous side to me! I spent this past weekend in Downtown Ashland, Kentucky exploring the riverfront and the "train-station". The beautiful scenery around this place was perfect for a day of photos and fun! My outfit showed off a little bit of Spring and in my step, and a little bit of Southern Prep as well. It is one of my favorite outfits and I was happy to wear it to bring in my favorite Season. Its also a great time in the Big Blue state because the Wildcats are about to win a title and complete an undefeated season! Just saying... Thanks for reading everyone! And Happy Spring! Enjoy!

Snow Day!

Snow days in Ashland, Kentucky are hard to come by, but this year I have seen more snow than I have ever seen in my life! Being stuck at home has it's great advantages, including spending time outside with my pups, and my family! Over a foot of snow but nothing can keep me down and out of it! Happy Snow Thursday everybody!

Thursday Off!

A day off of work calls for a day of errands, and a lunch date with my girlfriend, followed by a glorious nap to top it all off! I love my days off so I try to show my excitement in the way I dress!
